What the BJP's election campaign CD `Bharat ki Pukar' presents — excerpts from the transcript

New Delhi: Here are some detailed excerpts from the verbatim transcript, translated from the Hindi original, of the VCD titled `Bharat ki Pukar' released by the Bharatiya Janata Party as part of its campaign material for the Uttar Pradesh elections. It is on the basis of the contents of this VCD — which the BJP says it has `withdrawn' — that the Election Commission has directed the registration of an FIR against a veteran State party leader who launched the VCD, the party's national president, and some others.
The VCD consists of a series of fictionalised scenes revolving around several dramatis personae including Masterji, a BJP campaigner, and an unnamed social worker. Judging from the final credits, a large number of actors were used to make the VCD.

Voiceover: Today Mother India is screaming aloud, "Oh my sons, save me from being broken into pieces again. I no longer have the strength to be enslaved another time. By using terrorists, spreading fear and dividing us, Pakistan wants to break India into pieces. Hyenas hungry for political power are egging them on. They have forgotten what the consequences of this will be. Now, ordinary people of India have to think, do they want slavery again or Ram Rajya in their independent India."

1. Bharat desh aatankvad ke giraft mein.
Masterji goes around telling people to come to January 26 flag hoisting. At the meeting, only four or five people come. Masterji laments the poor showing but gives a stirring speech and shouts `Vande Mataram.'
The camera immediately cuts to the image of a Muslim man (identified by cap on head) planting a bomb under a white Ambassador car.
Episode: Cow slaughter
Cut to scene in idyllic village home with soothing music. Two men rest in courtyard next to tethered cow.
Cut to two young men walking outside, wearing pants and shirts and carrying long lathis.
Youth 1: Bhai Javed, the Hindu village has come.
Youth 2: Salim, you are right. Hurry up and take out the stuff, the tika and red thread (kalava).
[Javed opens bag and puts tika on Salim's forehead.]
Salim: Bhai, put it properly.
[They then tie the kalava on each other's wrist while Javed looks around furtively.]
Javed: Now no one will recognise us [laughs].
The two walk into the courtyard of the home with the cow.
Javed: Uncle, Ram, Ram!
Uncle: What's up? Where have you come from?
Javed: We want a cow. The doctor has said we should give milk to our child. So seeing your cow, we have come. Will you sell me your cow?
Uncle: We have cow's milk. And we can sell it too.
Javed: What you say is true. But sell us this cow. Our child can drink milk and we will look after the cow.
Uncle: The sons of butchers have come around many times ...
[Cut to look of panic on Javed's face, cut to kalava on wrist]
... and even offered me 3,500 rupees. I told them I wouldn't sell it for even a lakh. But if you keep it at home and look after it, you can have it.
Javed: But uncle, 3500 is too much.
Uncle: Brother, give me what you want. You are one of us.
Javed: Uncle, I can only give 3000. I'm a poor man.
Uncle: Take it, but on one condition. Don't sell it to the butchers.
Javed: Uncle, we are not Muslims.
[He pays the money and takes the cow.]

Nephew: Uncle, you've sold the cow to butchers and now you are sleeping!
Uncle: No, they were the Hindu boys. They had a tika on their forehead and kalava on their wrists. I saw it with my own eyes. It's only after seeing that that I sold it.
Nephew: I saw the butcher's sons on my way here. Neither did they have a tilak nor kalava. Aren't you ashamed? You sold your cow to the butchers.
Uncle: Are you telling me the truth?
Nephew: I know those boys.
Uncle: Oh, no this is a terrible thing that has happened. [Starts calling out for help, if anyone can find them] ... We'll find them and beat them up and bring my cow back.
Nephew: Ha! You are not going to find your cow. They've probably already killed her.

Text: The present government is giving full support to butchers. Cruel atrocities are being committed on Gaumata.
Uncle [head in hands]: This is a terrible crime, what am I going to do?
Nephew: You can cry about this your whole life. You've committed a big sin by selling your cow to the butchers.
Scene 2: `Duty of Muslim women to increase population'
Masterji stops a woman on the road.
Masterji: My child.
Woman: Yes.
Masterji: Elections are coming. Think carefully before you vote. And put your stamp only on the lotus symbol. Because if peace can come to this country, then it can come only under the BJP's rule. Congress and Samajwadi are the government of mullahs and maulvis.
Woman: Forgive me for saying so, but I am also a Muslim and Mullahs and Maulvis consider women their personal property.
[Cut to group women in black chador]
Woman 1: The duty of a woman is to produce children and increase the population.
Woman 2: What this sister says is right. Our leaders have issued an order. That those who produce more than 10 children will get economic assistance.
[Cut back to woman and Masterji]
Woman: This religion considers us as objects to be used.
Masterji: Well said, my child. If all the women become educated and wise like you, then this country's fate will improve.
[Cut to real news clip of speech by saffron-clad woman. "Hindus will produce two children and Muslims will marry five times and produce 35 pups and make this country into an Islamic state."]
Scene 3: "You will all have to grow beards"
Masterji [to group of shopkeepers]: Don't let this opportunity pass by. This time if you don't vote for the BJP, disaster will strike this country. The country will be destroyed. The BJP is a party that thinks about the country. It thinks about the Hindu religion. There is no other party like it. The other parties, they are all agents of the Muslims. What else have they done other than this? Prices have gone up. I tell you, we must vote only for the BJP.
Shopkeeper: Masterji, it's time for me to run my shop. Here Hindus and Muslims both come. What is it to me whose government is formed? You have unfurled the BJP's flag first thing in the morning. If you'd like a cup of tea, you are welcome. Otherwise, please excuse me.
Masterji: Tea? You think I am desperate for your tea? It's because I'm concerned about this country and our religion that I'm asking you to vote for the BJP. If you don't vote BJP, you will regret it. This country will be enslaved. First it was enslaved by the British, now it will be enslaved by the Muslims. Even earlier it was enslaved by the Muslims. That Aurangzeb earlier cut your choti [tuft of hair] and took off your sacred thread. And now these tikas on your forehead will have to go and in their place you will have to grow beards. That day you will repent, Panditji. And you will be destroyed and so will this country.
Shopkeeper: He is really irritating!
Friend: Panditji, you are calling the Masterji mad but everything he said is right. If today we don't take care, these tilaks will go and we will all be sporting beards and caps.
Scene 4: `You will end up in burqas'
Masterji [to group of women complaining about the price rise]: Listen, elections are coming and only by your votes can this country and the Hindu religion be saved. Otherwise we are standing in the jaws of slavery again. This time we have to make the BJP victorious and vote on the Lotus symbol.
Woman 1: Well you men know best, we will vote where you say.
Woman 2: People keep coming to ask for our votes.
Woman 3: No one is bothered about prices.
Masterji: That is why I am saying: if the BJP is in power, everything will be all right.
Woman 1: Masterji, why are you chewing your brains? People will vote for whoever they want.
Masterji: It is your brain that has been ruined! You will end up covered in burqas and eating paan!
Scene 5: Muslims abduct Hindu girl
[A social worker comes to a village looking for Chameli chachi. Chachi is lying huddled in bed.]
Social worker: Chachi, what happened?...
Chameli: A Muslim boy pretended to be a Hindu and lured my young daughter away. Fearing badnami, my husband committed suicide. If I say I am going to the police, then those people threaten me [cut to visual of a Muslim man wearing a turban and looking threateningly] that if you report us, we will kill your child. Now you tell me what should I do?
Social Worker: Don't worry, now that I am here, we will take care of you, we will solve everything.
Chameli: Please bring my daughter back. Who knows what kinds of terrible things are happening to her.
[Cut to scene of Chameli's daughter praying in front of a portrait of Krishna.]
Daughter: Om Jai Jagadish Hare!...
[A man walks up and throws the Krishna portrait on the floor.]
Man: If you perform puja in this house again, I will really fix you. Remember that.
Girl: What is this you have done, Ram? You have thrown Bhagwanji's picture! What is this you have done, Ram?
Man: Ram? Ha ha ha! My name is not Ram, it is Shehzad Ali. And I am not a Hindu but a true Muslim! Ha Ha ha ha!
Girl: What is this you are saying? You are lying.
Man: Listen carefully to what I say because from today, I am no longer Ram and you are no longer Geeta. From today your name is Fatima Begum. And tomorrow, you will be married to this boy, Yaamin, according to our rituals. [Cut to picture of an older man laughing in an evil manner.] And then you will have to live with him.
Girl: [Crying] You are lying. This can't be.
Man [slaps girl]: And don't ever utter a name that is against our Islam. What is there in these pictures? [Camera pans to portrait of Krishna on floor.]
Where is God? This is all lies. If you want to pray, pray to that Khuda who has made the whole universe.
Girl: [Breaks down, falls at his feet, and says with folded hands] Let me go back to my home.
Man: Home? Ha ha ha! Which home? This is your home and you will have to live here. And stop this puja-wuja and start namaz. Because by tomorrow, you will have become a true Muslim. Yaamin! Come here. Take this girl away. Tomorrow you will be married to her.
Yaamin: [Grabs girl's hand] Come on, begum. I will make you happy.
[Yaamin drags girl away, minus her dupatta.]
Man: Ha ha ha! When Hindu girls get ensnared by us, they scream and shout but sadly there is no one to listen to them and we have great fun. Ha ha ha ha ha!
Written text on screen: Love in Jihad, injury to Hindu religion, and forced conversion. This is the protection provided by the SP government.
[Social worker goes on a political mission, meets Samajwadi and Congress leaders, and finally decides that the BJP is the party to support.]
Scene 6: `Soon there will be only Naqvis, no Sohanlals'
The newspaper man brings headlines of terrorist attacks. Masterji shouts that this is what he has been warning about for years but people thought he was mad. In anger, he pushes the newspaper man's bicycle, but then has a heart attack and dies.
Funeral scene: Social worker, shopkeepers, and all the dramatis personae we have met so far congregate around his body.
Shopkeeper: He was a great man, always worried about the country and our religion. One day he came to my shop and said Ramlalji, the country will be partitioned once again because Hindus are forgetting their culture and the government is taking the side of the Muslims ...
Shopkeeper 2: Yes, he was a true patriot. He used to consider the Samajwadi government as pro-Muslim and that is what is happening in reality.
Mourner: Do you know the Mulayam government has hired 13,000 Urdu teachers. So are ulema going to teach us from now? And they have removed all laudatory references to Hindus from the curriculum. What will happen to Hindu culture?
Social Worker: Who knows how many more masters will be martyred because of their concern for this country? But your eyes will still not open. And now, that day is not far away when we will be afraid to even call ourselves Hindu, and you will never be able to find a Sohanlal, Mohanlal, Atmaram, or Radhakrishan anywhere. Wherever we look, we will only see Abbas, Naqvi, Rizvi, and Maulvi. All schools and colleges will be shut down. What will open are madrasas from where fatwas will be issued to drive Hindus out from this country, enslave them — because they want to rule over here, they want to make India into Pakistan. Then it will be difficult for Hindu girls to ever venture outside their houses. Muslims will seize their houses. Then who will protect their honour?
Old man: No. We will never allow this to happen. In order to realise Masterji's dreams and prevent India from becoming Pakistan, we must live and die for the nation.
Social worker: Come, let us take a vow.

Social worker: Just as the slogan of Vande Mataram inspired us to throw out the British, today we have to take an oath to drive those traitors out of the country.

Madurai Bench confirms conviction of Premkumar

MADURAI: The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Tuesday confirmed the conviction of Superintendent of Police K. Premkumar, who is under suspension, and three other policemen for assaulting and humiliating an ex-serviceman in a civil dispute in 1982.
Passing orders on a batch of petitions, Justice A. Selvam sentenced the convicts to one-month simple imprisonment and instructed the trial court to take steps to incarcerate them.
The judge did not agree with the trial court on releasing the convicts under Section 3 (power of courts to release certain offenders after due admonition) of the Probation of Offenders Act.
The Additional Sessions Court here convicted them on July 11, 2003.

His beginnings were appropriately ominous. When he was only a sub-inspector in Vadipatti in Madurai district he took upon himself the job of evicting a tenant of a fellow policeman. The ex-serviceman tenant, Nallakaman, only wanted the advance of Rs 5,000 he had made returned.

The money was not coming and so Nallakaman decided to dig in his heels. But he had failed to take into account Premkumar’s interest in the case and had to pay for his costly mistake.

On February 1, 1982 Nallakaman, his wife and son were beaten up at the Vadipatti police station by Premkumar and his colleagues. The head of the family was then handcuffed and paraded in the streets and dragged to the Vadipatti bus stand.

To top it all, a criminal case was registered against the hapless Nallakaman on charges, including attempt to murder. Public outcry followed, an RDO inquiry was ordered and the report confirmed all the allegations.

Finally, the Usilampatti RDO filed a criminal complaint against Premkumar and three others. Premkumar himself was placed under suspension.

Meantime, the case filed against Nallakaman, the one filed by the RDO against Premkumar and a private complaint preferred by Nallakaman himself dragged on in the Madurai District Sessions Court.

Interestingly, Premkumar took the Group-I services examination during the period, emerged successful and was appointed Deputy Superintendent of Police.

At one stage, he was also successful in having the Madurai proceedings quashed by the Madras High Court, but the Supreme Court reversed the ruling and directed that all the three cases be tried together and disposed of by March 31, 1995.

Premkumar moved up the ladder fast, nevertheless. As Superintendent of Police, he was perhaps unhappy that he should be bothered by the likes of Nallakaman and moved the Madras High Court to quash the proceedings against him, but it was his petition that was dismissed with costs.

While Premkumar had alleged that Nallakaman was stalling the trial, Justice Karpagavinayagam held that the cases had indeed been stalled by Premkumar and the other accused policemen and that the officer had shown disrespect to the Supreme Court and the High Court.

The judge noted that the Madurai court had issued as many as 13 non-bailable warrants against Premkumar between September 1995 and March 2000, but none of them was executed.

The judge also expressed dismay that the police officer should have ‘‘disrobed the saree of the woman teacher (Nallakaman’s wife) at the police station and attempted to remove her thali (mangalya sutra).’’

The judge went on to wonder how Premkumar came to be promoted so rapidly when his first appointment as DSP itself was temporary and subject to the issue of the Madurai trial.

But Premkumar seems to be having the last laugh now, emerging as a dashing officer who does not flinch before the might of a prestigious mutt.

If in June 2002, Justice Karpagavinayagam was appalled by what Premkumar had done as a sub-inspector at Vadipatti, more revelations were to follow barely four months later.

State Terrorism - Atrocity Against Makkhal Mandram

Introduction
Kancheepuram People’s Forum or Makkal Mandram is based in Kancheepuram and has been actively working since 2000, among marginalized sections of people like Tribals (Irulars), Dalits, Women, rural and urban poor in more than 60 villages. Makkal Mandram takes up issues of gross economic inequalities faced by these people. Makkal Mandram considers the social, cultural & political repression of these people as violations of their basic human rights; Makkal Mandram conducts campaigns for bringing such awareness among the people; It works to get central and state laws implemented in favour of the marginalized people;

Issues taken up by Makkal Mandram:

Makkal Mandram has got tribals working as bonded labourers (who are Irular tribals) released from the clutches of their owners and conducted long struggles for their rehabilitation to ensure basic rights for them, like livelihood, housing and security / safety from their erstwhile owners. It has confronted and pressurized the district administration to give some land and compensation to these people. Makkal Mandram supported these Irulars to form the Makkal Mandram Brick Workers Welfare Society to run a co-operative brick kiln themselves.

Makkal Mandram has been taking up the issue of caste oppression of Dalits at the hands of the upper castes and some backward castes who perceive themselves to be higher placed (and therefore superior) in the caste hierarchy.

Makkal Mandram has been taking up issues of violence against women, which is deeply rooted, in our patriarchal society. Makkal Mandram is doing awareness raising work and taking up campaigns against female feticide and infanticide, child sexual abuse, dowry harassment, wife battering, domestic violence, sexual harassment, rape, murder and other assaults on women. Makkal Mandram has been instrumental in getting sexual assaulters of Irular tribal women convicted under SC/ST (Atrocities) Act.

Makkal Mandram was in the forefront of the campaign to expose the misdeeds of Godmen like Jayendra Saraswati & Vijayendra Saraswati, Shankaracharyas of Kancheepuram.

Makkal Mandram has also taken up environmental issues like sand quarrying in the river beds, most of which takes place illegally. This also becomes a very sensitive issue for the administration as a lot of corruption and big money is involved.

Problems with District Administration and police:

In taking up these activities, Makkal Mandram often has had to confront the district administration, revenue and police departments. Land remains a basic issue of confrontation as the district administration refuses to give land to the poor people but gives away thousands of acres of government ‘poromboke’ land to foreign companies. Hence the administration has been trying to suppress Makkal Mandram for the past several months now in various ways due to several of the campaigns and issues taken up.

The Donkey Protest:

Many people of the Irular community are living in riverbeds and roadsides with no land or houses of their own. Since they have been living in the same place for years together, Makkal Mandram represented to the District Administration to give atleast 3 cents of land to each family. This issue has been taken up vigorously for the past more than a year. With a change in government in May 2006, Makkal Mandram hoped to get a better response as the DMK party has promised 2 acres of land to each poor family during the elections. The District Collector too was appointed by this govt. Hence Makkal Mandram met him several times with delegations of Irular people concerning this demand. However, he resolutely refused to accept it. In one meeting on 17.06.2006, he very arrogantly told Makkal Mandram activists that lands in this district are very precious and meant only for companies and I will not give it to these Irulars. So Makkal Mandram took up a weeklong poster campaign highlighting the plight of these people and the administrations indifference to their demands. When that too had no impact, Makkal Mandram decided on a novel method of protest. On 26.06.2006, Makkal Mandram put up a pandal in a prominent place (with police permission) where around 30 persons lay down on mats with files for pillows and chatting on phones etc to signify the working of a typical govt. office. They also had a donkey with a placard around it saying district administration. The people came in a queue to give their representations and memos concerning their requests / demands to the ‘District Administration’ and the donkey kept on eating these promptly! It was a symbolic protest, which was peaceful and democratic. On the collector’s orders, 8 leading activists of Makkal Mandram (4 men and 4 women) were booked under Section 124A (sedition / conspiracy against the state). They came out on getting bail from the Chennai High Court after about 13 days. The sessions court had refused bail as the prosecution strongly objected to granting of bail to them.

After this incident too, Makkal Mandram carried on its regular work and its activists kept meeting the Collector alongwith the rural people from time to time, especially on grievance days.

Parking Fee Protest:

In the month of Feb. 2007, the district administration introduced a new system. All vehicles including two-wheelers and cycles entering the Kancheepuram Collectorate Office premises had to pay parking fees at fixed rates. All government departments are mostly located in this campus. The District Collector was the Chairperson of the Society which was formed to collect this parking fee. The collection of parking fee from the public who have to visit the office complex frequently and repeatedly to get their grievances redressed, in view of lengthy procedural delays put a lot of hardships to the poor people especially those coming from the rural areas. Hence Makkal Mandram opposed the introduction of parking fee. The police denied permission to organize a protest demonstration. Still Makkal Mandram went ahead with the demonstration on 07.02.2007. Several hundreds of people were arrested at around 8.30 am even before they started the demonstration. The police tried to book a case on some 8-10 activists. But when the assembled people all threatened to get arrested, the police finally had to release all of them. This campaign received wide publicity and the public too supported it. Hence the District Administration was forced to withdraw it.

Grievance Day incident

Every Monday is a Grievance Day in Tamil Nadu when people can meet the District Collector with their grievances. Some activists of Makkal Mandram had accompanied the Irular tribal people from Karukkupettai and Muthialpettai villages to the Kancheepuram Collectorate Office to give representations regarding the problems of basic amenities faced by them at the ‘Grievance Day’ meeting on 19.02.2007. They met the collector and gave the representations. When the District Collector, Pradeep Yadav, saw the activists of Makkal Mandram, he got very angry and shouted at them, “Should I do it because you ask me to?” and then abused these women activists using the foulest possible sexist language like “Bastards, Bloody fools” and shrieked “get out”. At this point he jumped up from his seat, gestured violently and threatened them saying “this is the last warning. If you come with these village people again, I will not do anything for them”. He shouted at all the villagers who had come there to get out at once. They got so shocked they left the place at once. The next day, on 20.02.2007, Makkal Mandram did a lot of wall postering in Kancheepuram condemning the Collector’s behaviour.

Sexual Harassment of Makkal Mandram activists and 307 case against women:

On the next day 21.02.2007, there was a Makkal Mandram branch being opened in Nathapettai village. Three Makkal Mandram activists, Asha @ Hemavathy, Sarasu @ Sengodi and Ramesh went to the Bus stand and took a bus. Immediately, three guys got into the bus. One of them came and sat next to Sarasu and pinched her waist. She started crying. Asha and Ramesh noticed this and objected. Immediately, the three eve-teasers caught hold of Ramesh and beat him up. They went on using foul language throughout the 45 minute journey. As the bus neared Nathapettai, one guy jumped down and ran off. The other two followed the Makkal Mandram activists and got off at Nathapettai. Since the programme was being held in an enclosed ground close to the bus stop, several activists of Makkal Mandram had gathered there. When Ramesh narrated the incident to them, they questioned the guys about their behaviour. Those two guys arrogantly challenged Makkal Mandram people. Hence the people caught hold of them and said we will take you to the police station. Just then senior activists of Makkal Mandram arrived there. They tried to intervene and sort out the matter amicably. But one of the eve-teasers rang up his friends and asked them to come with knives and lathis. Hearing this, one of the MM activists rang up all the police stations. But no police help came. Within the next ten minutes, some 30 guys rushed into the ground (it was closed on three sides with a small gate, one side was a paddy field with a narrow passage) and attacked Makkal Mandram activists, mainly women, with thick lathis. Hence, Makkal Mandram activists were forced to defend themselves. In the melee, three male activists from Makkal Mandram and three from the attacker’s side got injured.

The police arrived at the Kancheepuram General Hospital and instead of recording a complaint of eve-teasing arrested Makkal Mandram activists (5 women and 2 men) under several sections including 307 (attempt to murder). The two girls who were sexually harassed on the bus, Asha and Sarasu were also arrested. Asha is a Dalit and Sarasu is a tribal. The FIR also says 50 other unnamed persons were involved in the attack. The three eve-teasers were booked under Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act. But only one of them was arrested. Two others are still absconding, according to the police. But they have been roaming about the town following women activists of Makkal Mandram.

After this, the police have let loose a rein of terror and harassment against Makkal Mandram and its members and did all kinds of unlawful things.

1. The five women activists were held at the all Women Police Station at Kancheepuram throughout the night of 21.02.2007, without any FIR or case. It was illegal detention. They were informed of their arrest only at 7.30 am the next morning. They were not even allowed to contact the commune members or lawyer and their cell phones were taken away.

2. That night (21.02.2007) two jeepfuls of policemen including the DSP Muniappan forcibly entered the Makkal Mandram Commune at 1.30 in the night to search for other activists. At that time only three women members of the commune were present. The police came without warrant and without any woman police.

3. The next day on 22.02.2007, at around 12.00 noon, DSP Muniappan came with all male police team to search the Makkal Mandram commune (with search warrant). They took away daily expenses account book and some documents. (These had no relevance to the case). This search lasted for more than 3 hours.

4. Kumar and Ramesh were admitted to G.H. and arrested immediately. The police did not allow commune members to meet them. At 1.30 in the night of 21.02.2007, a policeman came in mufti and told Kumar some relative had come to meet him and tried to take him out of the hospital to a lonely spot. It could have been an attempt to encounter him. Kumar was alert and ran back into the hospital. He refused to go anywhere after that.

5. Kumar’s Tata Sumo was towed away from the Govt. hospital without giving information or seizure memo. The lock was broken open by the police. Now the stepney, car radio, some books, one bag, one small money purse with some money and silver anklets etc are missing from it.
6. On 23.02.2007, a big police posse went to Mangalpadi village where rehabilitated bonded labourers have their co-operative brick kiln. On finding only women in the village, DSP Muniappan threatened the women there. He also made enquires about where they had come from. They gave the names of the mills where they were held as bonded labourers earlier. The next day, some erstwhile owners were seen roaming around these villages. This seems to be deliberate intimidation of ex-bonded labourers by the police.

7. The police have gone to other villages where Makkal Mandram is active e.g., Amman Nagar, Orikkai, Kolivakkam and Kamugampalam etc and intimidated the villagers there. Just a few days back, the police went to Nathapettai village where the incident took place and interrogated the Irular people there.

8. From 22.02.2007 till now, goondas have been following Makkal Mandram women activists wherever they go. They keep on whizzing past the commune during the day and night hours too. They make threatening gestures at women activists. There were atleast 6 anonymous calls threatening Mahesh with dire consequences. On the phone they also claim that the DSP and Collector are behind them, so they can do anything.

9. The Collector is reported to have said that he will wipe out Makkal Mandram from the District.

10. There are also apprehensions that some case may be foisted on Mahesh, Jessy and Kumar under Goondas Act or NSA.

11. On 18.03.2007, i.e., today the police arrested ten Irular tribal people from three villages on the same charges viz., Section 307. These were people who had gone to meet the District Collector and give him their representation reg. lack of land pattas, drinking water and other basic facilities, on grievance day held on 19.02.2007. The police seem to have got their names and addresses from the memorandums submitted by them to the District Administration.

Sultan Shihabud-dinhis dynasty ruled the state for 222 years. His army mainly consisted of Damras, Lavans and the hill tribes of Poonch, Rajapuri and Kishtwar. The important commanders who served under him were both Hindus and Muslims, such as Chandra-Damra, Laula Damara, Shura, Syed Hassan and Abdul Raina His two important Hindu ministers were Kota Bhat and Udyashri.

He was tolerant ruler and treated his Hindu subjects generously. It is reported that owing to prolonged campaigns he needed money, and his ministers asked him to loot the temples, but he stoutly opposed the proposal, and to quote Jonaraj, he is reported to have said in anger: "Past generation have set-up images to obtain fame, and earn merit, and you propose to demolish them. Some have obtained renown by setting up images of gods, others by worshipping them, some by maintaining them, and you propose demolishing them. How great is the enormity of such a deed ".

Qutab-ud-din died, and he was succeeded by his eldest son Sultan-Sikandar. It was in the time of this Sultan, that the political atmosphere of the state was vitiated. He imposed Jizia upon Hindus and stopped them to use tilak on their fore-heads. Writes M. Hassan: "In their misplaced zeal for their faith, Sikandar and his minister Saif-ud-din (who was originally a Hindu) were also responsible for the destruction of images and temples ."

* 1420 - 1470 ==>

Shahi-Khan or Sultan Zain-ul-Abidin, ascended the throne in 1420 A. D. and ruled upto 1470 A. D. nearly for half a century. His accession to the throne, proved to be the return of a bright and warm day after a cold and a chilly night.

In the words of Pandit Anand Kaul: "possessed of a broad and tolerant outlook, with a desire to benefit mankind, he ruled with such equity, and justice and did so much to improve the material prosperity of the people, that one can not fail to admire him, his benevolent rule demands special homage in as much as he lived in a period when he had no worthy and enlightened contemporary to emulate. In the world around him, he could have little to help him. He was a potentate encouraged to be tyrannical and selfish by tradition, and especially by the examples of his father, Sultan Sikander. Zain-ul-Abidin was deservedly surnamed Budshah or the great King. In spite of 5 centuries having rolled by since he ruled, his name is still remembered with genuine reverence and gratitude. Take the name of Budshah before a Kashmiri, and at once with a happy countenance he will rhyme it with Pad-Shah ".

Writes another modern historian M. Hassan : " of all the Sultans who sat on the throne of Kashmir, Zainulabidin was undoubtedly the greatest. He ushered in a period of nearly half a century of peace, prosperity, and benevolent rule for his people. He introduced many arts and crafts for which Kashmir has become famous ever since. He promoted learning, music and painting and made Kashmir the centre of great culture. He won the loyality and affection of his subjects who called him Budshah or the great king, a name by which he is remembered even to day by the people of Kashmir. He acquired a halo in popular imagination which still surrounds his name inspite of the lapse of nearly 500 years."

Thsi Sulthn did the following things:
==> One of the most outstanding features of his administration was the just and liberal treatment of the Hindus, who were not only allowed complete freedom of worship, but the Sultan recalled all those who had fled to India in the time of his father.

==> He allowed those Hindus who had forcibly been converted, to return to their former religion.

==> The Sultan banned cow slaughter and permitted the repair and rebuilding of the temples at government expenses.

Do you know what has been gifted for Kashmir due it's religious tolerance?

The Sultan opened schools and hostels for the students. It is for encouragement of arts and crafts that Kashmir will be permanently indebted to the Sultan. In the Hindu times, the valley was equally famous for its arts and crafts but these had greatly suffered in the chaos which lasted for over two hundred years. The Sultan invited competant teachers from countries to Kashmir, so that they could train people here. Among many industries introduced by him, we can mention carpet, paper machine, paper making, silk rearing, shawls, manufacture of gun powder etc. Kashmir became so famous for beautiful designs on silks and shawls that our state acquired an unrivalled fame in Asia.

*1561- 1587 ==>

The last Shahmiri ruler, Sultan Habib Shah, a weakling was deposed by his commander, and nobles raised on throne Gazi Chak, a prominent military General of the time. He was the direct descendant of Lankar Chak who had come to Kashmir towards the close of Hindu rule. The Chak rule began in Kashmir in 1561 and lasted till 1587, when Akbar, the great Moghul Emperor conquered Kashmir.

* 1587 to 1752 - Moghual Period.

and in this period undoubtedly the people enjoyed peace and orderly Govt. There were some rapacious officers, but on the complaint of the people the Moghul rulers immediately removed them. Owing to the long peaceful rule of the three Moghul Kings, hundreds of people now began to come to Kashmir to find mental peace, to regain their health or attain spiritual salvation.

Aurangezeb's reign was a signal for revolts and rebellions in several parts of the country. In distant parts of the empire commenced an era of lawlessness, anarchy and disorder. Many states became independent under their subedhars who founded new independent states. A reign of disorder also started in Kashmir. The Moghul Governors began to loot and plunder the people, and at the same time ruthlessly started a policy of religious bigotry and fanaticism. There was absolute chaos in northern India after the invasion of Nadir Shah of Persia. The people of Kashmir could no longer tolerate the misrule of Moghul satraps, and accordingly when Ahmad Shah Abdali of Kabul was at Lahore in 1752, two Kashmir nobleman Mir Muquim Kant and Khwaj'a Zahir Didmari, waited upon him at Lahore, and disgracefully requested him to bring Kashmir under his control.

* 1752 - 1819 ==>

Afgan Rule Kashmir remained a dependency of Kabul rulers till 1819, roughly a period of 67 years. The Pathan rule is the darkest period in the history of our state. It is true, that all sections of people suffered here during their time, but the chief vicitims of these fiends were the Hindus, Shias and Bombas of Jhelum valley.

It is strange that during this dark period a Hindu also became a Governor here. His name was Raja Sukh Jeevan Mal. It was only in his time that Kashmir heaved a sigh of relief. He was afterwards defeated and killed by Ahmad Shah. The Pathan rulers are now only rememberd for their brutality and cruelity, and it is said of them that they thought no more of cutting off heads than plucking a flower.

While the Islam not has continues history of atrocity. The hinduism has not even a single day of Non atrocity. Till today it continues with it's religious fanticism regardless of it is in power or not.

What is the meaning of Pet aversion to puja in Tamil, Not allowing other caste people to Temple, and other cultural arrogancy? If those who claim that hinduism is democratic then they must answer why the Village and Rural Small gods are become Sanskriticed while being inducted in to Hindhuism. Why can not they retain their old customs and Rituals. Instead those gods were forced to adopt Brahmanic Customes and Rituals?

Globalisation is doing Bad - Says Prime Minister

For quite a Long time We communist say - Globalisation is just an another way by Imperialism inorder to postpone it's abysmal death Fall.

If you accept the fact that the life expectancy of Imperialism depends on it's continuation of exploitation of resources in third world countries like India, then you would find how dangerous this globalisation process is.

For this claim we are providing lots of proof both from the words of ruling Class as well from the various facts we receive. And I too have given quite a good lot of statistics and constructive arguments to bolster our claim.

Now came a great confession from our Great Prime Minister about the ill effects of globalisation. The same Prime minister who, last time confessed about his illicit blood relationship with Old colonial Masters-The British, By praising Briton for whatever it did for India during colonial occupation. As far as we know from various sources that British did a lot of exploitation and atrocities in India. Some body sitting in the other cubicle might be wondering what the hell in the world made Mr. Prime minister to praise Briton for it's colonial oppressions in India. May be the degree conferred to him by Oxford? No I don't think so. It is the great Lord Machauley who created our Indian Slave education system should be given all the credits for Manmohan's accolade on good intentions of British raj.

Here we should remind that Manmohan is the guy who started all this ill prone liberalisation process by opening up the Indian market to outcast man eaters - The MNCs during the 1990s. The Man eaters already tasted enough flesh from farmers. Soon they would even target their Neo Darlings - Low cost Software employees of India. That is a different story to expatiate. Now let us see what and how our great Uncle Manmohan has confessed.

Globalisation: Some Concerns

These achievements of the era of globalization should not blind us to the new anxieties that globalization has brought in its wake. The reach of globalization is yet to touch many parts of the world. Moreover, the evidence suggests that the process has not removed personal and regional income disparities. In many developing countries, growth is by-passing the rural areas. Also, in the face of stagnation in their real pay, the working classes in industrialized countries are becoming fearful of the opening of markets. The gap between the rich and the poor is widening. This, coupled with the inability of the public sector to provide adequate and quality services in health and education, and cater to the needs of the poor, is causing resentment and alienation. This is nurturing divisive forces and putting pressure on the practice of democracy.

These are real and palpable concerns and they cannot be ignored. Ladies and gentlemen, I suggest to you that we address these vital concerns by making globalisation an inclusive process. We need to work for inclusive globalisation. This calls for a new global vision

He accepts:

* Growth is By passing Rural areas. We name this scenario as cancer spots of Liberalisation epidemic. Cut this cancer parts by Boycotting Government in Rural areas.

* The gap between rich and poor is widening.

* The inability of governance to address the grievances of poor and under privillaged population of a country is growing(Education, health etc).

* This process made the sapce for Democracy to shrink. - In our words - people now a days dislike the Government. This make those people to organize and struggle against the state. This struggle has to be strangled at neck by Manmohan sing.

While he accepts this grave situation is araising out of the ill process called globalisation, he says they are mere concerns(Vital concerns, afterwards). That is, life or death problem of very people of a country is just a concern for Dr. Manmohan Singh. And this also after the long period of suffering of our people and especially the rural poors.

May he remain in his musing and Do his slavery job for the sake of Lord Machauley!

We working people who have self respect should organize to protect our National Interest By over throwing this Comprador** political class to waste bucket!

There were unneccesary hocus bocus all around to celebrate Independance day. Especially those who are in abroad advertised their psudo patriotism in a vulgur way. While the country is still struggling to get even it's basic needs met. And day to day the situation become worse, these people are boasting that India is developing to become superpower. The same rhetoric those real western powers used to expliot India.

The below one is based on a mail I received. The mail was a reply to one pseudo patriotic mail.

Q. We Indians are the wealthiest among all ethnic groups in America , even faring better than the whites and the natives.

There are 3.22 millions of Indians in USA (15% of population) .

YET, 38% of doctors in USA are Indians.

12% scientists in USA are Indians.

36% of NASA scientists are Indians.

34% of Microsoft employees are Indians.

28% of IBM employees are Indians.

17% of INTEL scientists are Indians.

13% of XEROX employees are! Indians.

Facts:

==> 30,000 deaths/year due to rabies(dog bite) still govt(BJP) banned low cost rabies manufactured by Kings Institute(Govt) for the shake of MNCs capturing Indian market. International Patents Right has dwindled our already suffering health care system. The first affected is Cancer drug rosed from 250 Rs to 800 Rs. Rabies 4.50 Rs in Govt hospital to 750Rs in Private.

==> 50% world's Malnutritioned Children are in India.

==> World's biggest AIDS hub(still reacent budget increased tax on AIDS and Cancer drugs).

==> 70% of people are pinned up with Agri field, Which contributes only around 5% of GDP(thus 5% of our economy is shared by 70% of people)

==> 60% of Indian children are malnutritioned which is higher than sub sahara.

==> India ranked 7th for world's most dangerous country for children.

==> India's slipped down to around 147th rank in social Indicator(Health, Education, food, Child care etc) from aronund 127th rank in the previous year.

==> Around 40% of Indians are half starved.

==> Seasonal death tolls - Summer 700, Rainy 700, Winter 700(average).

==> 1 Lakh farmers suicide death in 2 years(this is govt statistics. The real statistics will be around 2 Lakhs, as govt rejected most of the Suicide as not Farmers on technical ground-Ex: Wife of a farmer is not a farmer as she is not entitled to any farming land).

==> 70,000 small scale industries closed in karnataka alone in the last 7 years.

==> After globalisation the jobs created by IT & ITES and the other second level third level jobs created by this fields are around 4 to 5 lakhs(approx). The jobs lost due to the closer of small scale industries and labour policies of big corporates are around 13 lakhs due to the globalisation policies. These reserve people are now serving the profit by working as a contract employee. No job secutiry.

==> TCS charimen warned in the CII meeting in Mumbai on Sep 2005, that around 40 crore unemployed will be in India on 2016. That is the biggest threat to India. The recent report by govt says around 28 crore unemployed will be in India on 2020. RBI statement on 2005 December says employement growth has diminished after Globalisation.

==> The agri field is not modernised and they are coming to cities as neo nomads to sell their low cost labour. This huge internal diaspora population going to be the biggest internal threat to India. Especialy the middle class. After the farmers are driven away from Agri field it will be in the hands of MNCs to serve their market needs(the market may not be India).

==> While water scarcity is affecting everywhere. And UNO chief Kofi annan says Water wars will be the future wars. Every where water resources are provatised. Ganga was sex brokered by Vajpayee to sues demodarant. Thamirabarani was brokered to Coke(liter 1.2 paise). And lots of other rivers were given to private companies. A recent report says there wil be huge water scarcity in briton. The british govt is advising people to consume water responsible. When water scarcity hit europe Indian water resources will serve their daily need. But we Indians will end up only with the list of Indians working in MNC.

==> The Seed act prevents farmers holding seeds. They have to get license for that. Is seed a amunition?. No, But the act is to serve the Mansonta like genitically modified Seed companies to rule our Agri field.

==> India is developing by Importing wheat.

==> India became poor due to colonial exploitation by British. Where as our PM(Who born from the place where Bhgath sing also born) went to UK to receive award from Oxford University, there he thanked our british master for their colonial rule and he said India benifitted from Colonial era. Machuley turned in his graveyard proudly, hearing Manmohan's applaud of colonial era.

While the reality is like this, there are some boneless creatures thanking pepsi for appointing an Indian as it's CEO.

Is an Indian rapiest raping internationaly a proud thing?

Is an Indian Sex proker (the likes of Manmohan, Vajpayee, PC etc) prokerring internationaly a proud thing to India?

These pseudo patriotics are exposed whenever real problems of India are discussed. These people at those time will maintain either a stealthy silence or detract the discussions by raising some silly issues.

It is true that, we have very rich history, We are very tellented people in the world. Still the shackle of colonialism is not removed. Our mother is still exploited by those western powers.

This what I feel - should be remembered at this moment.

The Shackle of Slavary (Colonialism) is still depriving our all around growth. The growth whatever we see are like cancer spots.

India is Ailing.... Help Her get out of Recolonization pandemic.

Recent media hype over BPO industry says IT Act of India should be mabe more stringent. The reason is recent Data theft happened in BPO.

And there are couple of business magazines echoed this sentiment.

Nothing different in these kind of propaganda but the thing is, what they didn't tell, What they didn't Echoed, that makes us to criticise them.

Now a days there are wide spread crtiticism about the treatment of BPO employees. Whenever these criticism araise the above biased media would say that BPO employee are very happy.

But now a problem comes for companies they are the first to criticise and forewarn.

That is one part of the story the other part is the continuation of my recent article about jobs flying out of India. The data theft-IT Act propagande plays a vital role here also.

A recent survey by Forrester says jobs are flying out of India due to the following reasons in their own words(Business India - 12 July 2006).

"Concerns arising out of recent information security breach at HSBC's India centre coupled with high attrition rates and staffing costs could take a toll on the BPO industry, slowing down the growth to between 28 and 30 per cent in the next 12 months, warns a report by Forrester Research. "

The role of attrition rate and high cost are understandable and that is what I mentioned in my previous articles. And based on that only I asked IT employees to organize themself before the ball run out of their court.

But the inclusion of 'Secutiry concern' is a trick.

By including this, they just wanted to make sure the employee feel the guilty of himself(the data theft) for jobs flying out of India.

By creating this public opinion they can somehow reduce the crticism that they fly out of India only because to earn more profit.

By creating this public opinion they can make Employee take responsibility for their job loss(job loss of future, It is not happening now) by blaming himself for job loss.

Though they never share their profit with us, they are willing share their guilty with us.

The data theft- security concern is not the major reason for their shift from India. This is eveident from my previous article.

But there are words in Forrester report itself:

"however, points out that instance of data leakage leading to account theft is a `universal phenomenon' and that security is often much greater at IT and BPO facilities in India than at vendor or user facilities in the US and the UK."

Then wheat is the real reason for flying out of India....?It is nothing but more Profit....

And the same report says Maintenance and Developement outsourcing is going to increase. But those people will also fly away from here one fine day.

Dudes...we are not manufacuring/Servicing any software. Indeed we manufacturing/Servicing Capital(Money) for our employer.

May be your productivity increases to produce more software but if you fail to increase your productivity to produce more Capital(Money), They would sure run away from you.

I have mentioned in one of my previous postings regarding the jobs outsourced to India. The lattest news from various sources add value to my points.

In the previous posting I have mentioned that jobs would run out of India due to companies ever ending exploration for new cheap human resource destinations. Now recently Wipro has started a BPO center in Vietnam. Already it has one center in Romania.

There are other companies which joined recently this new venturing phase are ICICI One source, Genpact, Office Tiger etal. Their favorite destinations are Vietnam, Philipines, China, Srilanka, and othjer south asain countris, Countries in Pacific rim etc.

And they are also looking for sites in latin american countries. This is the character of globalisation. The aim of globalisation is to ease the burden of MNCs to find best Profit out of anything even out of a Holocaust.

Running out of India doesn't mean their profit growth is decreased or seized to stop. Wipro BPO's profit for this year is up by 12%(Economics Times: January 19).

One Roy belong to a company called Quatrro says, “Sri Lanka is at the same stage that India was eight years ago with good language skills available at low costs,”.

There are some interesting scenario also happening. Indian companies are started set foot in Europe. They initially said that they went to Europe because India is only a good destination as English speaking talents. But the real reason behind this is VAT(Yes, Value Added Tax).

If it is a problem with Indian VAT system then Indian government would find some solution for the problem inorder to show India's a servitude(Slaveitude). And India is already giving lots of privillages for MNCs to reduce their sufferings due to VAT.

But the current situation is because of changes in European VAT system. This is in Insurance sector and they are expecting Finance sector would also get affected.

There are confrences by various interest groups inorder to take precautionary measures to stop the BPO companies flying away from India. The recent one was a conference by IIM-B(Bangalore)(Indian Express - June 27, 2006).

This is not specific to BPO. This may happen to other IT, and ITES fields also. After all our bread winner is the vicious cycle called outsourcing.

Dudes, try to understand the situation. we are at the mercy of west. Inorder to boast a 8% GDP, despite vast majority people are suffering in villages, we have to give cheap labour to them. And they would leave us in the half way if they find new low cost destinations.

Don't we have self respect. Even american employees are organized under union frist time in the corporate history. They struggled against IBM and retained their legitimate right on Pension.

This is the right time to organize overself and form Unions for the shake of our future welfare. Now the ball is partially(atleast) on our court. This may not be the case after two or three years or may be after five years.

While the Administration gives Low Interest Loans and Subsidies and Import duty hike to Nurture the Wine Industry in Maharastra, It did nothing to improve the situation in Vidharbha, The same maharastra were suicides become rampant.

And even the Administration has done some aggravating actions that kills more farmers there.

As of today(January Mid) from June 2005 more than 300 Farmers have commited suicide.

Numbers....we need Numbers to kindle our humanity........Bullshit....

But for the Administration even the Numbers won't do that job. Because there is nothing they aware as Humanity.

All the below suggests that the Govt tries forge that the real problem in Vidharbha and in the whole country is because the whole rural population become Mentals(Mad).

* "atma vishwas jagruti abhiyan" campaigns. To boost the morale of a farming community which rocked by Suicides. They have some 13 such programs.

* when the family of Hiraman Patil was denied compensation after his suicide in 2004. The son says: "He took his life because of tension over his debts,"

Govt Says: "He had killed himself because he was depressed over his wife's death." There was a glitch in that argument. Hiraman's wife had died 15 years ago.

Give Guns to Farmers to protect themselfs from Money lenders....

While the farmers unable to afford money for their food how come they afford for ammunition required for Guns.

A recent report of ILO(International Labour Organisation-A UN' organization) reveals that half of the world's labour force is afflicted by 'Working Poverty'. This means workers who have jobs yet live on the fringes of poverty.

The report also worries that employment growth has slipped back globally.

The reason it states for this abysmal state of global work force is that the present economic, technologial progression is not inclusive. That is, the progression is doing nothing to exploit rapidly growing human resource(Unemployment).

The report states, for example while outsourcing is taking away local jobs from USA, the Indian labour market is full of concern about massive unemployment levels of unskilled labour.

Though the report is formed from a capitalist perception, it identifies the problem correctly.

While the globalisation itself is a mean to create new markets and to give way for intensified exploitation of existing markets by MNCs, one cannot expect it doing other than profit for MNCs.

The irony of the present economic system is that the resources(Human) are queing up and competiting between themself to be get exploited by this system. They(resources) even refine(undergo training, courses) themself inorder to reduce the burden of MNCs(of training a labour).

Thus we(labour) give opprtunity to MNCs to exploit us. Though the world and human soceity having various fields that need real progression, the present system of 'Profit Tag' prevents the human soceity from doing so.

If the profit tag is removed, will create more and more opportunities to exploit human resources in a constructive way.

In present context, If something done with real concern for the developement for the soceity, it araise only out of the fear of social distress, mass uprisings, revolution.

Mear nuclear bomps, Mobile techology is not the development required for the present soceity. The technological, economical developement boasted by the fans of globalisation is not even reaching 30% of population of the world.

If even something like progression is done for that section(We), it is like British paved rail tracks, Electric connection and industrial developement in India for their better exploitation of
resources(including human resources).

If that progression is not made by this system, it may not survive this long.

The contribution of capitalism to the world is over. It's historical duty to the human society is fullfilled. It is extending it's stay with human soceity. The relevance of capitlist way of managing things in the present techologically developed soceity, is no more a wise idea. This expired system of resource management should be demolished.

This over expired system has it's life line on recolonisation. Which prevents natural eveolution, developement of countries like India(while Indian Agri still remains as old world, cities like mumbai, bangalore of ultra neo world are existing).

While the entire soceity is involved in production, few have ownership on the yields of the labour. This contradiction of present system should be resolved.

Now, it become the duty of every member of human soceity to drive away the ownership of world resources from few hands. The world resources should be controled by the society for it's own developement. In this every member will work for the soceity and the society as whole works for each and every member.

Indian Freedom and Imperialism - Immediately after August 15

There are wide spread criticism that the failure of Indian economy before 1990 was it's affiliation with socialism. And the failures of the post 1990 economy is very comfortably used by Anti communist forces to attribute failure to communism.

But the real thing is that Nehru adopted the color of socialism to paint Indian economy, only to prevent India from becoming a Socialist country.

That period of history was known for it's Socialist wave all around the world.

The word socialism was so famous among the mass that each and every politician used the word.

That is why even Anna, MGR(Tamil nadu) said that they are socialists. MGR in his films always talks about this. each and evey politicians, Artists etc show their affiliation with Socialism.

Socialism was the best brand at that time.

Anna(Tamil Nadu) even said that: 'We will go to Mascow and tell them that we are the real communists in India'.

Thus the above is the reason behind Nehru adopting socialist hue to Indian Economy.

It is only a colour not a real socialst economy or as if known as partial socialist economy(is there anything called partial medication?).

But our economy was really serving the Imperialist countries ambitions even at that time itself.

Those who find this unable to digest have to consider the below in mind:

We got freedom because,

- India fast becoming country of next communist revolution(after China).

- If that happens, it will be the death blow to Imperialist countries.

- Post world war II imperialist countries(France, Britten etc) were worn out due to war.

- USA which master minded the world war for its ambition to change the world order(most of the markets were shared between Europe countries, and Japan was fast expanding its market by capturing south east asain countries which was a threat to USA economy. So USA helped initiating a world war to clear way for it's imperialist ambition).

- Now due to world war II, USA got it's all enemies, competitors were ruined except USSR. Now it can leverage it's power on world to change the world order as it's wish(only hinderance is USSR).

- Due to USA pressure to give it's legitimate share of world markets and socialist threat made Briten to gave control of India to Indian Feudalist and capitalist(Congress). Thus imperialists made sure that their ambition in India won't get affected(instead if the country were in Communists hand, imperialists cannot do anything).

- As USSR become a role model for poor, starving working class of the world, The non socialists countries(India etc) were forced to adopt some kind of economy that would give those majority people the feeling of socialism.

Thus the above Socio, economic condition of that period made Nehru to paint Indian Economy with Socialst color(just a color).

I didn't Intend. But all these article I got from my friends. Ofcourse very informative.

The previous one is about BPO. This is about core IT field(software devl, Maint and Support).

This writer identifies the problems correctly. But for solution he begs Coporate gurus...

Do you think our employers will find solution for our problem? How it is possible that Azimgi will give less work and pay high as he gets project because the employee is paid less and exploited lot(that the writter himself mentions in his article).

So this article gives a clear picture of our problems. But for the solution it tries to show its servitude, slave attitude. It compromises.

Get the information and we will strive for the solution

The article itself mentions the reason for our problem is what the reason behind the west preference of India as IT desitnation. Then how come our corporate gurus will eradicate those reason (that means, - how will they improve our life at the cost of their business).

If it happens that our Corporate gurus have to decide between our welfare and their business thay will choose the second one. That means, they will shift their business to some other part of the world.

If we unite atleast we could say our grievances and get them resolved until the time come for our gurus flying out of this country.

My opinion is we ourself only able to find solution for our problems not our employers

I would stress again the need for IT union(not the conventional way - We have to discuss to find Neo ways).

Because while we are in the era of IT revolution, we suffer a lot(Even I heard of companies that are not at all paying and/or paying less(2000 ,3000) to their employees(Java etc)). What happen when the field is saturated (The following could expedite the saturation - high attrition rate, slaray hike), And competition become very very high(as companies moving from india to south east asian countries, pakishtan, China, affrican countries etc).

And also beware, now the talent pool is very less. that is why Corporates not much bother about willing to attract techies by paying high and Fakes. (For example: as new project are coming in huge the real talents required for those projects are very High. because the maturity of IT field in India is very very less (Absolute maturity will be around Five to three years). But the project we are attracting requires heavy number of experienced techies... Where will the talent market go? So fakes are available.. and thus salary hike and Attrition rate....employees are enjoying. This is Known as Bangalore Bug in IT HR people. But this will not continue...As years goes even an experienced person would find it difficult to shift his job or to find alternate company. This become evident now itself.)

Salary hike is chumma..One side we expedite increase in Cost of living the other side PC chidambaram insures we are paying high tax indirectly to contribute the unrealistic GDP growth rate..:-) see below one IT employee opinion about salary hike:(taken from the given Link)

And I should mention that though our earnings are far higher than our parents, our life is very worst compare to what they lead. Atleast they have penson and peasceful(6 hr /day work) life. But for us?

Another thing is we beleive that ours is really intellectual work. But not really. We are just an external hardware of Computer. So we have high speed, heavy memory and computer like processing stuff but very clearly we are lacking creativity and common sence that a normal person would have.

This also one kind of exploitation. Because we think that we are doing something intellectual but not actually.

As the natural law says the worker' body part that involves in production will be affected(Hand, Knee joints etc). For us it is Brain and Hands.....What is the effect...Stress? Suicides? Sleeplessness?...

As the scenario goes like this....What shall we do...as we believe we are intelligent and even decide the future plans of Our Clients:-))

The Second one is about police brutality on honda labours, which exposes Indian Pseudo democracy.

The First one is about Tamirabarani - Coke issue, which exposes our democractic systems are serving MNC.

The political scenario in Gangaikondan, where the river flows, where the facotory functions, changed dramatically afterwards. The collector even banned the commencing of Kragm(village) Panchayat Saba. The police banned the screening of a documentary(Moolgum Nadhi - Drowning River) on the problem. Police filed conspiracy cases and arrested people for pasting Anti coke posters.

The two are having a strong politcal message. Till date I use to forward these presentations to my New Friends.

Rang De Basanti…... A Revolution born out of Beer bottle - (Film Review)

Right Now, we are having a situation, as time pass is nothing but Cinema, Instead of Cinema is one of the time passes. Cinema is the media, which is spreading the ruling class opinions in to common people’s mind. Rang De Basanti is one of those kinds of films running recently in theaters.

Small overview of the film (For those who not yet watched ….)

A London based girl, who is having interest over the history of the Revolutionary heroes viz Chandrasekhar Asath, Bhagat Singh, Ramprasad Bismil, Asbagulla Khan who fought against the British colonial rulers. She wants to shoot the same as a film and keeping above in mind she is coming to India. With the help of her Indian girlfriend she is meeting some college students to play as the roles of the historic heroes and she got irritated by their inability for delivering the dialogues of the historic heroes. In order to make London girl happy, Indian girl introduces her friend’s circle.

The friend’s circle of Aamir Khan is so colorful. They are Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Painting Artist, rash bike drivers, guys who can jump from the heights of palm tree to water with drinking beer, guys who are enjoying (passing) their life like anything with above activities. The Lover of the Indian girl, Madhavan who is a pilot in Indian Air force is a visiting member to these enjoyable moments.

Fall in the youthfulness of this Friend’s circle, London girl decided to shoot the film with the help of this circle. She also decided to include Athul kulkarni into the troop who is a member of BJP.

Though the circle did not show interest over the documentary film in the initial stage, they become sincere after seeing the seriousness of the London girl. Incidents like Kogari Train Robbery, Attack against LalalajbadiRay, Sander’ killing, Bombing in Parliament by Bhagat Singh were filmed. In the end, the friend’s circle got stunned while seeing the hanging of the revolutionists in the screens.

They were discussing in a HI-FI BAR!!!! about various factors to save the spoiling India. Pilot madhavan says educated has to take positions in Military, Politics & I.A.S Officers. Despite their film activities they continue with their hi-class care free life.

But pilot Madhavan got killed in a MIC-21 flight accident, this incident turns out to be an end for all the happiest moments of this circle. Reports from the N.D.T.V reveal that there were corruptions in purchasing low Quality MIC-21 flight. B.J.P Minister in this connection refusing the corruption and he is blaming the accident is due to Pilot’s mistake.

Shocked friend’s circle conducting a peaceful candle rally in front of INDIA GATE. Students also join the protest. Irritated minister order the police force carrying out lathi charge over them. Many got their head broken. Aged mother of Madhavan beaten to Coma. This entire scene gets compared with the attack against LalaLajPathi Roy.

Angry Aamir khan’ friends Circle, for the first time in their life debating something useful instead of just chatting. They were delivering the dialogues of the revolutionists in real time, which they had acted in the film. Serious debate is going on as it become very hard to differentiate between the scene from documentary and the real one. Finally they decided to kill the minister.

They kill the minister in the same way & in the same situation as the killing of Sanders, which was in the documentary film. This became hot news in televisions and the political world started blaming Pakistan’s I.S.I hands in this killing. Since the real reason for the killing got hidden, the friend’s circle decided to reveal the truth to the world.

On one fine morning, they are force enter and get control of All India Radio Station, and they tell the world the reason behind the killing in a live show. They are answering the questions which were coming with applauds. Government sending the commando force to kill them. All are getting killed with bullets all over their body. They are breathing their last laugh with reminding the revolutionists being hanged in the documentary.

With the help of N.D.T.V. the youth, students from all parts of India were showing their anguish, enrage over the government. They express with lots of emotions the need for “Educated must come to Politics”.

Fans come out from theaters with heavy heart while expressing their bliss about the heroes like Bhagat Singh, Asath were born again from history in a way that pleases their heart.

This film is produced with an estimate of Rs 30 Crore and it was distributed with 600 prints to all over the world targeting urban – especially city people. It gained the money, which is spent for production for this film within a week after the film got released.

Which is the key factor for the Victory of the film? …..

This may be due to the different Storyline. Before we are discussing about things such as how this film is different, what enthralls a viewer, and what kind of political message this film has. We just wanted to give some important information about the film.

If the London girl is so loyal to her political sentiments she must have taken the film in Iraq. Okay we can leave that matter but at least while she was enjoying with the youngsters somewhere in the film she could have worried/mentioned about the current atrocity. This argument has its importance, as the sponsor for this film is Coca-Cola. In this film scenes related to Punjab Dhaba is absolutely an advertisement for Coca-Cola. Aamir Khan is an important advertisement model (brand ambassador) for Coca-Cola. After a few days of the release Coke distributed it’s bottle with Rang De Basanti Sticker Pasted in it.

· The same Coke is running a separate Government to suppress the peoples who are fighting in PilatchiMada, KangaiKondan. What a wondering that the same coke is a favorite Drink for our Dream Heroes.

· It shows that Coke is also a part of 21^st century’ Indian Patriotism, this illegal sexual affair between Coke and 21^st century’ Indian Patriotism is because of Globalization?

In order to narrate the killing of the Minister, who spoiled those friends enjoyment, in a different way the creators of the film had artificially used the history of Asath, Bhagat Singh. Already Hindudhva fanatics are smearing Asath & Bhagat Singh in one side by putting tilak to Bhagat Singh & Sacred thread to Asath. In another side the Pseudo Communists who are doing Parliamentary pooja, are making dishonesty to Bhagat Singh by representing him as an Action Hero for their parties. Now this film is also doing harm to Bhagat Singh for their share.

Gandhi-Congress infidelity gang have many times betrayed and also exterminated courageous struggles of Indian people against The British. Bhaghat singh is the symbol against this history of betrayal and infidelity.

Bhaghat Singh who during his prison times wrote in his diary about his dreams on the socialist government in India and for that the need to mobilize people for that revolutionary work. Now it becomes our duty to rescue this Historic hero out of these false narrations. Bhaghat singh and other revolutionaries were smeared in this film only to sanctify the adventures feelings of the carefree youngsters.

Fans started accepting this friend’s circle within few minutes from the starting of the film. They recognize themselves as one among the circle and they want to join in that carefree circle, or already joined in that circle. The viewers saw themselves only among this carefree circle not among the revolutionary Heroes. The revolutionary heroes gain their admiration from the viewers only because they appear into the friend’s circle through the documentary. As if an oorugai (Tamil) for a wine party.

This is how the upper middle classes in the I.T cities, who get 5 or 6 digit salaries, spend or wish to spend their weekends. There is no wonder that the real life of these yuppies is surrounded by selfishness and driven by the aim of mobilizing upwards is identifying itself in the screen like this. They consider this kind of living as the responsible living for the society.

These youngsters who portray the freedom fighters in the documentary, freaks out often in their regular life and they never feel guilty for their rubbishy life. Instead they consider themselves as already good persons and they are discussing in a HI-FI Bar that it is not good for such a good persons to keep away from politics. Since maharani killed before their glasses get emptied, they kill the minister and become martyrs.

In order to become a minister, one has to cross so many steps after that only he can do corruption but for this upper-class youths there is no such steps, they become leaders in one step. This is the politics behind this film. These Upper class youths who don’t have even a small hint of social responsibility think that the society is declining only because this yuppie class is not taken up the responsibility of steering the society by occupying the ruling chair.

In olden films there will be lot of reasons, incidents, and justifications for killing the villains and only at the end justice will win. But the Upper class doesn’t have that patience. That is why they don’t like democracy. And fascisms & dictatorship are the political doctrines that well suit their interests. In this film also they took guns only because their enjoyment is disturbed otherwise those hands will carry only beer bottles.

We can take the case of Jessica Lal, which was hot in the newspapers before sometime. Mausharma & vikashyadav who were managers in coca-cola company went to a bar called Tamarind Court on one Midnight. Jessica Lal who is serving alcohols refusing to serve as the time is up. Arguments get started. Immediately Mnausharma took his Pistol and shoot Jessica.

After 6 years in this Cruel Murder Case, all the accused got released. Is there any difference between this friends’ circle and aamir khan’s friends circle? What will happen, If Aamir khan’s friends circle went to the Bar and if they have not got alcohol? If they don’t have Gun then it may be end up with a scuffle. Apart from big capitalists & landlords, Manusharma’s friends also tried a lot to protect Manusharma. Here in this film also, friends were having a lot of affection between them. One of this friend’s circles, the minister is interrupting while in the other a bar girl who is serving alcohol is interrupting. That’s all the difference.

Pranai Rai’s N.D.T.V which was shown as a revolutionary T.V in the film, is trying to prove the same in the real life too. In support to Jessica, lots of peoples were showing their protest by holding the candles in front of the India Gate in a peaceful way. Pranai Rai meeting Abdul kalam with the 2 lakh S.M.S in support for Jessica and he is making an appeal for Justice. This was fabricated as a revolutionary act and it was telecasted as a live show in NDTV.

In the economic conference which was held in lavos, the same Pranai Rai join hands with capitalists like Anil ambani and said “world capitalists come and invest in India” and it was the same Pranai rai who interviewed Bill Gates when the later visited India with a emotion that a guy who met God and it was the same guy who got chance to attend when Manmohan singh gave a treat to Bush. How can we call a multinational Capitalists Slave like Pranai rai dissimulate himself as a Patriotic rebel?

There is some middle class politics hidden behind the support by newspapers & televisions for justice to Jessica. Jessica lal is a female and also an advertisement model. There are lots of benefits for Capitalists of this medium by converting the sorrow behind the murder of this girl into the sorrow of the middle class. Instead of Jessica if a boy or poor woman who washes alcohol cup got killed, this issue won’t go up to the level like Jessica’ case.

There are lots of incidents in the past ten years where justice was killed like Mumbai riots, Gujarat carnage, Melavalavu dalits murder, Outrage of Ranbeer sena, and day today suicides of farmers. Why N.D.T.V has not taken any campaign for those incidents and why it has not met president. NDTV also is a sponsor to the film, like Coke. The Jessica lal’s case gave an opportunity to NDTV to emulate the similar scenes of the film in real life. And also there is a chance for the middle class to consider them also revolutionists as they have sent 2 lakhs S.M.S. But at least none of this coward, had raised their demands to hang Manusharma

Their demand is Justice to Jessica lal. That’s all. Evil Justice!

So the reason behind this film’s success and the reason why viewers mingled with this film are best described in real time by the true story of Jessica lal case. There is nothing to describe separately by us.

I very recently visited Rameshwaram temple as my mother and father went there to do some formalities for dead fore fathers. There I saw the Board that prohibits other castes in to some specific area(I don't remember, I think it is the place where food is prepared).

The Imperialist Rabid Dog - Bit our health sector(Non availability of Anti Rabies Vaccine)

Last week a stray dog at lakshmanpuri in Bangalore that went mad bit 16 peoplemost of them belonging to the nearby slum and majority were children. The victims were rushed to a nearby clinic. From there they were directed to government hospitals for anti rabies vaccination. But what surprised them was the government hospitals didn't have adequate stock of Anti Rabies Vaccine (ARV). They wereturned around, towards four government hospitals in Bangalore and everywhere the story was same. And at last only three of them were able to get ARV injected that too in a private hospital at a higher cost. A boy in salem died of rabies due to non availabilityof vaccines. There are stories coming from everywhere.

India, housing a large number of stray dogs, holds to be the world's capital of rabies. According to a recent report by the World Health Organization, of the 55,000 rabies deaths that happen around the world per year half occur in India. That is more than 20,000 people in India die out of rabies every year. And around 35 lakhs people get treated for rabies in India.

While the government officials say that there is an adequate stock of vaccinein hospitals, the truth is that there is no stock of ARV. And government hospitals have announced that rabies vaccines are no more available. Before we go deep in finding the reason for non availability of vaccine, let us look into the manufacturing process of anti rabies vaccine. Rabies is a virus. ARV is made from Antibodies developed in Sheep brain after injecting them with Rabies virus. The King institute Ooty, is a government institution known for its low cost anti rabies vaccination manufactured using process involving sheep. This process of using sheep for manufacturing medicine eventually kills it after a certain period of time.

During the BJP regime Menaha Gandhi, famed for her animal welfare strides,and her animal friendly organizations like Blue Cross fought against KingInstitute in the pretext of stopping this in-human act of killing sheep for medicine and poor quality medicines, while the actual reason is a ransom of crores of rupees received from MNCs. This is a part of the plot of MNCs to get hold of the world's biggest medicinal Market.

The Story Unveils:

India's pharmaceutical needs are satisfied mostly by indigenously manufactured medicines. Indian medicines are low cost and with high standard, that's why foreigners fly to India on medical tourism. The multi national pharmagiants who occupy the rest of the world may not conquer Indian medical supply asthey cann't compete with our low cost medicines.

Due to this reason they took the other ways. They spread planned abuse over the standard of the Indian medicines. These planned efforts to conquer Indian market starts around 2004. Government stopped the supply of rabies vaccine on the pretext that Indian made vaccines are of poor quality. And it said that government likes to give its people only high quality medicines.

If bread is not available for people then they can eat cake said spouse of the French king 14 Lue. But the government says it likes to give only cake so no bread.This policy of government can be translated to each and every field as follows:"Only basmadhi rice Stop ration rice", "Only kinley water Stop corporation water", "Schooling only at convents Close government schools", "Treatment only at Apollo close government hospitals".

This planned conspiracy against Indian medicine as low quality product was not the finding of Indian government. It was of World Health Organization. This WHO never gave its glimpse on Cigarettes manufacturing, readymade food varieties which are proven health hazards products, and banned, dangerous drugs that are billing up in Indian medical stores, etc. UNO played the role of creating public opinion to justify the war on Iraq. The same way WHO is doing for the conquest of Indian medicine market. Thus WHO is a mercenary of Multi National drug manufacturing companies.

While there is no established statistics to prove the claim of WHO. The medical practioners say that Indian made rabies vaccines were doing good. And side effects are common to all medicines. The interest of WHO lies in the huge market of 35 lakhs rabies patients. That will increase MNCs market from 100 Cr to 2000 Cr.

The Alternative Avathar Intellectual Property Rights(TRIP):

There are alternative manufacturing methods(Tissue method) that are not involving Sheep or any animals. Human Biological Institute(HBI), A government ompany, is manufacturing rabies vaccines without torturing animals. But the essential ingredients required for that process are imported from foreign companies.

During 2005 Intellectual property rights regime came into existence. Now HBI must pay royalty to the three companies (Sides kadila, Avanthis paster, AvathisPharma) which own those essential ingredients. So the aim is very clear that in thepretext of animal welfare, and low quality medicines - Imperialists want to clear the cheapest sheep rabies vaccines and make India fully depended on Vaccine made from imported ingredients.

It used to cost Rs.60 to manufacture rabies vaccine by Tissue method. And it cost only Rs.4 for Sheep Brain rabies vaccine. The government subsides around Rs.51.5. so the people can get the vaccine at a rate of Rs.8.50. Now after 2005 TRIP regime it costs from Rs.350 to Rs.750. Now the ARV is available at around Rs.100 in government hospitals. Now, the government subsidies the rest of the amount, which it will cut gradually as in case of LPG cylinders and petrol, diesel.

The ban on Sheep brain vaccines was not to remove low quality medicines from India, But to remove the low quality people who are unable to buy the quality medicines.

While World Bank restricts government to give subsidies to Agri, Edu, Healthsectors, It is willing to give loans to government to subsidy rabies vaccines. That is on one side World bank ensures the profit of MNCs the other side it ensures that the government will pay the extra money through loans. But who is going to repay the loans? It is we through increased tax (recently PC said the future will be service Tax regime).

Thus now the poor has two options either he has to get loan from local money lender for vaccines or the Government has to get loan from international money lender,WB, for vaccines. That we eventually would pay back."Toss a coin If it is head I am the winner, If it is tail You are the looser" Says World Bank.

Blue - Cross born to Dogs and Pigs:

The restriction imposed on Sheep brain Vaccines was implemented with the help of Blue Cross organization. While they force and ensure no dogs are killed by city corporations. This increases the possibility of a slum dweller being bitten by dog. Which would increase the rabies victims every year, Which is a direct profit for MNCs.

They say yearly around 30,000 sheep are killed. They won't bother about 3.5 Lakhs human victims and 20,000 deaths. Because they are the cross bread of Dog and Pig.

With the help of police they raided King Institute and ensured its non functioning. Menagha gave them(Blue Cross) the legal weapon. Will this group do the same thing for Thamirabarni Coke factory? have they ever act against any of the cosmetics MNCs?

This inhuman group successfully banned Anti venom vaccine for snake bite. Stating horse as a reason. The affected will be lakhs and lakhs of farmers. No need to say India is most affected by snake bite. Doctors say imported Anti Venum vaccines will not work against Indian Snakes.

Rabid Dogs - shoot at sight

The immediate effect of this patent rights regime was seen in the hike of cancer medicine rate that reached Rs.250 per capsule.

The rate of anti rabies vaccine thus increased from Rs.8.50 to Rs.100 and scarcity of vaccine occurred. Now the situation is that we have to wait for the ships to arrive with Anti Rabies ingredients while our victims are dying. This is what happened in Manipur last month, 18 people died due to rabies within one week time due to nonavailability of vaccine. Anti Rabies Vaccine should be injected into the victim's body within 24 hours of bite, and a course of five to follow, failing which leads to the death of the victim within 48 to 72 hours from the symptoms of rabies.

Those who are affected by this shortage of vaccine and its higher price are the poor and their children. But in the context of Menaha and her colleagues these lives are not as worthy as that of the sheep that could fetch them crores of rupees. The government whose primary objective is to serve the big Multi National companies have no time to hear about the chaos of people, it finds itself completely drenched in the service to the corporates.

These animal welfare organizations protests against the killing of stray dogs. So now the dogs are sterilized and not killed. But this didn't reduce the population of stray dogs. And the number of victims is also not decreased. All these had worsened the life for the poor people, who already lost their lives in the village and moved to cities seeking chore jobs and building works.

Nobody is going to take care of this majority of population that suffers for the minority's wealth until; people are organized against the government's negligence and against the greed of the corporates who acquire wealth even from the death of the masses.

Rabid Dogs are always beaten to death in villages. These profit driven rabid dogs Imperialism, Government, NGOs- also need the same death treatment.

There are natural laws that drive the entire universe. But one thing that differs human from other living being is that we contradict with nature for our confort.

This inclination become very worst in Capitalism due to technology. But still the human society is not united and organized as compared to the Nature. So Nature reverts back with more vengence(Bird Flu, Tsunami, Global warming, etc).

This implies that there exists two fate for Human society:

1) With the present social structure the Human society will loose the battle against Nature. Due to the conflict with in it(human society) and due to the confliction with the Nature.

2) The socialist society will evolove (if the society allowed to evolve naturally with out any human intervention- as it is happening in India like third world - exploitation from imperialism). and the contradiction between nature and Human society will be handled in smooth way in Communist soceity.

So it is not the question of whether communism goes against 'vallan' theory. But it is the question of human existence.

The choice is very clear Death or Communism.

Reservation-Haunts Again(More teeth added) -I

Again Reservation!

Warning:!
I request everybody to read this mail from a comman perspective. And request everybody to shun away their caste Identity. Still vast majority of people are toiling in villages suffering two pronged devils 1) Caste oppression and 2) Economic depression. And lower caste people(poor and slum) in urban area also still suffering social discrimination in either way(economic and/or Caste). Given this context inorder to give even opportunity to everybody, reservation is the only option available in this system. The other option could be to demolish the system.

Some arguments and Counter arguments:

#1) One of the prime argument by the Social oppressors is "Fair Competition"

This argument is primarily the argument of Neo Globalisation Middle class who benifitted from the sufferrings of Amrican Employees. This Argument is valid against Upper caste, as in IT field they are representing more than 60%.

What is fair competition?

Is that the one we compete with American employees? Will any one us can survive if we have to have a fair competition with american counter part who lost job because of Outsourcing? If those upper caste elites are sooooooo honest and dedicated to fair competition then apply it to themself when they compete with USA employees. Atleast Do they have the courage to accept that not becasue of talent but becasue of Cheap labour that made the USA counter part loose the Fair competition with India and other countries? Those people shouldn't talk about Fair competition with this great immorality with in them.

#2) The other argument is Economically good - other caste people are enjoying Reservation. This argument has its base on the ignorance of the truth that Reservation are not based on Caste but based on population. Reservation not based on Caste, Based on population:

Reservation are given not based on caste. It is introduced to even the uneven sharing of lucurative, influential jobs by various social groups. The percentage of upper caste in total population is around 5%(tamil nadu statistics). Where as they occupy the whole lot of positions in All good-coloured collar jobs(white etc).

The reservation is the same as reservation for Afro-American' in USA(all the companies- regarless of private or public). Unfortunately(Fortunate for some section) the social groups in India are Caste groups too.

The existing reservation is implimented paritaly. Till most of the Good-colored collar jobs are in the hands of uppercaste. However there is no attempt from government to even the uneven sharing of jobs in Bad-colored collar jobs(Lavatory cleaning etc).

While the upper caste person can become a temple archagar for a lower caste God. Govt, Supreme court, and other judicial bodies are banning a lower caste person become a archagar for an upper caste temple. is that a fair competition?

My opinion from the available statistics and from what I perceive everday is that the reservation should be more than 90% for other than upper caste social groups. And it should be compensatory reservation system.

That is for example if the reservation for a particular caste group is not filled in the bad-colored collar jobs then the reservation for the particular group should be reduced in good-colored collar jobs. (If it hurts somebody then they have to understand that the cricket mail hurts the oppressed people....Sarcastical approach is not a sole property belongs upper caste).

#3) There are people who say increase allocation to education instead of reservation which would help the socialy discriminated castes:

These people never ever lend their Voice for the solution they say. Till now, those social oppressors are struggling just to anihilate reservation. For those people: If their concern about India is Genuine, then they have to first join the struggle for Education&Employment to everybody. If it is implimented then they have the justification to struggle against reservation.

#4) Quality and Merit:

Latest cut-off marks for BCs and SC/STs in Tamil nadu professional -Entrance Exams for MBBS admission - Analyst, Jayaprakash Gandhi of Salem, notes that last year the cut off scores for MBBS entrance in the government colleges were (including the TNPCEE scores) - OC-295.74; BC -294.26; MBC-292.13; SC-287.56; and ST-274.00. Is the score 287.56 out of 300 is poor score and the SC people are idiots?
And there is no untoward incidents in India in any field that happened particularly due to poor quality Lower caste person.

Indeed there are majority of ugly incidents involving only upper caste people, starting from India' first Centeral minister sacked for corruption T.Krishnamachary to Stock exchange scam Harshadh Medha. And we have examples where low caste people went to villages to serve their people.

Let's see the below statistics which contradict the share of various social groups in population:

IPS Total => 3300, Upper caste(Brahmin) ==> 2376 ----- 72%

Ministry of Defence(Class I) Total==> 1397, Upper caste(Brahmin) ==> 1332----96%

Ministry of Defence(Class II) Total==> 7752, Upper caste(Brahmin) ==> 6762----87%

Ministry of Defence(Class III) Total==> 2127, Upper caste(Brahmin) ==> 1332----62%

And this is because of the fact that still vast majority of people are toiling in villages suffering two pronged devils 1) Caste oppression and 2) Economic depression. And lower caste people(poor and slum) in urban area(especially- Mid towns) also still uffering social discrimination in either way(economic and/or Caste).

Given this context inorder to give even opportunity to everybody, reservation is the only option available in this system. Inorder to distribute the available resources evenly, the other option could be 'Demolish this system - Revolution'.

Now while the upper class elite are striking against the right of oppressed people, Indian Express supporting them. This is the real face of Indian Express always against right of the people. The SBI cartoon is modifed to expose the Anti reservation strike by junior Doctors.

இருள், வெளிச்சம், பொய்மை, வாய்மை என்றேல்லாம் முகவிலாசம் எழுதி வைத்திருக்கும் சங்கரின் பார்வையில் வாய்மை, வெளிச்சம் இவற்றுக்கும் மதச்சார்பு(அவர் பாசையில் மதச்சார்பின்மை) உண்டோ ?

அரைகுறை உண்மைகள் ஆபத்தானவை! அது காலம்காலமாக பாசிஸ்டுகளின் ஆயுதம்! இந்தியாவில் சமூகத்தின் இதர பிரிவினருக்கு கல்வி கற்க்கும் உரிமையை மறுத்து தங்களை உயர்த்தி கொண்ட வராலாற்று புகழ் பெற்ற பாசிஸ்டுகள் யார் என்று சொல்லத் தேவையில்லை.

அதென்ன 80%?!! அம்மணமாக அலையும் சரஸ்வதியும் பிற தெய்வங்களும் அந்த 80-ல் எத்தனை சதவீதத்தக்கு பிரச்சனையாக உள்ளது என்று மானமிகு தமிழரங்கப்புலி, இந்தியாவுக்கான இஸ்ரேலின் அரசியல், காலச்சாரம், பண்பாட்டு மற்றும் சுற்றூலாத் துறை தூதுவர் திரு. சங்கர் அவர்கள் விளக்கினால் சிறப்பாக இருக்கும்(அவரது அல்லக்கைகளும் கூட விளக்கலாம்). ஏனெனில் அந்த 80-க்குள்ளேயே வெறு பல பெரிய்ய்ய்ய்ய்ய்ய்ய்ய் பிரச்சனைகளை நான் பார்க்கிறேன்.

I would like to remind here the plight of World's Only Hindu Country(ofcourse World's Poorest Country too). So it is very clear that the problem of any country is not Religion(neither religion is a solution). And sarcastically(to sankar) the conutry at the end of receiving it's freedom has declared it is no more a hindu nation. And in India also Hindu(read Brahmanic) religion is the one causing more atrocities on working people in Rural and urban slums etc. World's worst terrorist religion is Hindhudva(read Brahmanic).

Still those who converted to Islam, or Christianity for milk powder are waiting there in mandaikadu(tamil nadu) to be killed by R.S.S. They are 'Thesa Throkigal'.
But those who changed their country for dollors are 'Thesa abimanigal'(like Sankar).

If the scenario goes like this there are questions like below are araising:

May 1st,.... For some, It is a Holiday.

Have we ever cared about what this Day is meant for? What sacrifice this day has? What human value this day exemplifies?(say, self respect for example).

How many of us remember that whatever the minuscule rights we are enjoying today are the yields of various glorious gory struggles by our ancestors.

But now we loose those rights by looking at illusionary luxurys. We sell our ancetor's wealth for dubious promises.

We are satisfied with the current package of 5 to 6 digit salary, and ready to sacrifice anything for that - Personal life, Health, Our rights, Dignity, Human values(Self respect, Humanity, Social concern). And never like to bother about out future after 10 or 15 years.

Our mind is bogged down with self centered desires encouraged by consumeristic media, and MNCs. We consume everything not because of our need but because of the need of the cult of today. In this artificial euphoria we forget to look at Our society, Our life, Our future.

Ya..We look at our family, But not in a sincere way. Family is not only our father and mother. Our children also our family.

Without our knowledge We loose everything. What do we loose to gain what?

Even US employees affected by Outsourcing are organaized and struggling for their rights though they don't have problem leading thier life or finding alternate jobs.

But we have no alternatives if we loose this job. And don't need to say how insecure our jobs are. We know how sincere Azim and Narayan to thier profits. Tomorrow profits may come from Africa, Philipines, Pakishtan etc.

While the ball is in our court, we have more chances to get back our rights. Now the ball is in our court - that is, companies are in desperate demand for talents, techies.

This is the right time we can organize. This the right time we can demand for our basic rights - Such as 8 hours work/day.

If you think that we can organize when problem comes.....It will be too-late. The ball never been again in our court.

IBM workers organize to protect pensions

Garrett Lanzy IBM Advisory Software Engineer Endicott,New York says: 'We pressured IBM into withdrawing some of its pension changes and generated congressional hearings.'

I’m the technical leader of a team developing and maintaining Internet applications which run on IBM eserver iSeries 400 systems. I am also a member of the local and national organizing committees of Alliance@IBM , a CWA affiliate. I joined shortly after IBM announced changes that would have reduced my pension by about 20 percent and slashed my retiree medical plan from lifetime coverage to just 4 or 5 years.
We asked CWA to help us because it is one of the few unions with significant experience representing engineering and software development professionals, and because its organizing philosophy empowers members to take an active role in determining our future.
We’ve accomplished a lot. We pressured IBM into withdrawing some of its pension changes, generated congressional hearings, and held seminars educating employees on their rights. We also led the mostsuccessful first-time effort by employees in U.S. corporate history to adopt a share-holder resolution opposed by management.
Many times I have been asked, "if you’re upset, why don’t you get another job?" But working conditions are similar across the "high-tech" industry. The only way employees can truly have an effect is to take charge and exercise their rights under the law to organize.

As everybody aware of why jobs are outsourced to India, I would like to mention the tactics of IBM specifically.

Every IT companies have their own tricks to ensure huge profits. Like Wipro - Students Employees, Bulg mixing, 9.5 Hours work.

IBM also has tricks such as - more than 90% utillisation, Banned calling Mobile from office land line, reducing Onsite opportunities, Contract employees, Flexi Timing(meaning - Intime will be ours butouttime will be theirs).

In this as of now the demand for techies are heavy. So some of the tricks that affects employees are kept just as directives(for ex:93% Utillisation) but when the field saturates inorder to retain the growth rate (profit rate) those directives will be followed strictly.

Just imagine how will we face the situation.

Indian IT employee must come out her/his musings about $(onsite), 5 to 6 digits salary, Little luxorious care free life.

She/He has to look in to her/his present and future life. And he/she has to look in to what it costs for the Indian soceity as a whole.

Story 1 - Story of Faith:
An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new students to stand and .....

Prof: So you believe in God?

Student: Absolutely, sir.

Prof: Is God good?Student: Sure.Prof: Is God all-powerful?

Student: Yes.

Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?

Student is silent.

Prof: You can't answer, can you?Let's start again, young fellow. Is God good?

Student: Yes.

Prof: Is Satan good?

Student: No.

Prof: Where does Satan come from?

Student: From...God...

Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student: Yes.

Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?

Student: Yes.

Prof: So who created evil?

Student does not answer.

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?

Student: Yes, sir.

Prof: So, who created them?

Student has no answer.

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?

Student:No, sir.

Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?

Student: No, sir.

Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?

Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?

Student: Yes.

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Prof: Yes.

Student: And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof: Yes.

Student: No sir. There isn't.(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it. (There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student:You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?

Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Prof:Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir? (The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)

Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain? (The class breaks out into laughter.)Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol,science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir? (The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student: That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving & alive. . . . . . .

Story 2 - Story of Science

The whole conversation looks like one of the Dreams of APJ Kalam. Because he use to dream the whole day and night and breach others the remaining Day to dream in the 'middle of meddled country'.

Prof: Dear student, is there such a thing as 'GOD'?
Stu: Yes, it is 'Faith' through which we can feel 'GOD'. So it is there.

Pro: No my dear young chap, you are wrong. We have science, Astro science, and whole lot of science for each and every field. But we don't have anything called 'GOD'. There is no such thing as 'GOD'.
'GOD' is only a word we use to describe the inability of science(that is the inability of science to describe something). We cannot measure 'GOD'. My dear student, 'GOD' is not the opposite of Science. Just the absence of it. 'GOD' is just the absence of Science. So My dear student, your point is correct but the conclusion is wrong.

(The Foolish Student shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize how unrealistic his thoughts were and how naive he was.)(The class is in uproar.)

The message is very clear. The history of God says it is the fear of human on his inability to perceive the Nature - that is where 'GOD' exists. As our ability of perception grows, that is sceince grows, the space for GOD shrinks.

Thus now the sustenance of 'GOD' lies in Three areas...

One - Those who benifit from institutionalized GOD - that is religion- try to give various definition keep in pace with ever evolving science.

Two - Unsolved questions of science(the inability of Science).

Three - The unpredictable condition of global economy (due to its capitalist nature). Even the big capital venture has to first beleive in GOD then only he belives his own predictions about profit.

In our Daily life we are confronting with lots of questions. Some we can able to find answer some never... Some we never bother about finding answer.

And now a days there are N number of people, who are criticle about the present economic and political system, making commotion all around
- from The hindu, Frontier to Puthiya Kalacharam - from Arundhadi Roy, Naom Chomsky to Medha badkar - from P.Sainath to Marudhayan, RUPE - from Rang de Basanthi, Final Solution to Anbesivam, Nagariga Komali - from a bunch of NGOs, Pseudo communists, Ultra extreme Leftiest to dalit parties, Revolutionary parties.

Yet we don't aware of whether our welfare is pinned with what they are protesting......
And now a days we see most of our friends accept that something wrong is going around. But still unaware of the Gravity of the situation.

Because we are very very very very very very Bussy........Hmmmm still we find time for boozing, flirting, shopping, and other Fs....(okay leave it, no personal....).

Now a days all around the world revolutionary movements are taking momentum and become very very influential defying the existing pseudo Democratic capitalist, or quasi feudalist parliament setups - From Philiphines, Indonasia, malaysia, to Latin america, India, Nepal etc even in Western countries especialy former soviet blocks of eastern europe and germany, france, sweden etc.

Some of the questions now we very often confront with are....

Globalisation, Liberalisation, Privatisation - Good or bad?
present System of Parliamentarian politics, and Police, Military, and judicial bodies - Good or bad?
What is communism - good or bad?
How will our child live - No idea hehehe!.
How will you live - No idea Hehehe!
